I have been on HF since 13th of September 2003 though have been a ham since 1983 (previous call ZL4TFX).

Decided to go HF after plenty of help, advice and encouragement from my good mates Bill, W5USM (now W0WOI) and Stan ZL4OW. Decided not to wait for CW to be removed and passed the arduous 5 wpm test. Have since enjoyed many, many CW QSOs.

My equipment consists of an Elecraft K3 and IC-706MKIIG, 3 element SteppIR at 10m high and a 20.6m high vertical. Also a 160/80m EWE antenna rx antenna and a K9GSV Dxpedition II.

#2 Direct with RP = direct reply
