Greetings from AJ4BT!

I was first licensed as a novice in 1983 with callsign KB4HKG but let the license expire. I was licensed again in summer 2007.  Current rig is Icom 735 and G5RV at 100 watts.  Also use IC-91AD for D-Star, IC-2200H's for mobile and base.

Really like working DX on 20, check-in on 7238 as often as possible, and tune around 75 at night.  Also have SB-200 that needs a little work.  May try to get this online sometime but really like seeing what can be done with a G5RV and 100 watts.  Just added a half-wave vertical dipole cut for 20 meters.  Using LDG AT100 Pro tuner for the wire antennas.

My father Charles KB4AK was first licensed at age 13 in 1939 as W4JMI.  Oldest son Jace W4JSJ got his general class license after graduating from NC State in 2008.

Our local club www.w4gso.org has a D-Star repeater W4GSO  B at 442.8625.  D-Star gateway is now on-line.  Also have Echolink connection on our 2 meter machine through W8JFQ-R.  Active in ARES and serve as a VE.
