A long-term resident of Iowa City and a University of Iowa graduate, I worked actively for the George McGovern presidential campaign in the early 1970s. I worked my way up to the position of Computer Programmer Analyst in the early 1980s at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where I continued to work until retirement in 2002.

I'm new to HF, working a few 75 meter nets, and learning the ropes.
