Hello!

You can see my Blog and Live Streaming video of my station HERE

I'm interested in antenna building for all bands, Love to put up wire antennas for HF and see how they play.  If I've worked you on HF most likely it's from my home station, I do have an HF rig Mobile, but don't often play HF in the car, mostly on UHF chatting locally.  You'll find me a lot on 20m and 40m chasing DX, I love to work stations around the world.  It is really a thrill to have a 2 way direct QSO especially with the 746 running barefoot.   I love putting these antennas up and seeing how they work, just when I think one of them is the best ever, someone gives me an idea for a new project that works even better than the last.  Thanks to all the Elmers out there!

Some of my antennas even have coax although my favorites are fed with 450 Ohm Balanced line.

My friend Andrew Pearson who works as a professional Photographer took all of these pictures of me playing around the shack during a recent fall antenna maintenance weekend.  I took down my old multi-band Fan Dipole and put up a big doublet antenna that I've grown to love, and a regular 80m dipole fed with coax.  I guess the 80m dipole is a back up, I don't actually use it that much.

Before I recently upgraded my license to Extra, my call was KJ4BEE, you might remember seeing me in the image above before if we have previously made contact under that call.

That's more of the antenna maintenance up on the roof, during the removal of the fan dipole.

Here is a shot of me at work.  I'm an automotive technician.  I really enjoy every opportunity I get to break out the mig welder, it is a lot of fun playing with "the hot glue gun"

Check out Andrew's website AEPearson.com  if you like his photography work drop him an email and let him know.

Glad to have worked you on the bands, I hope we contact many more times in the future! 73
