Was first licensed in 1958, as KN0RGJ and used a Viking Adventurer along side a Hallicrafters SX-99. .  My Elmer was Jim, K0EVE and his dad, Russ.

A "D" in Latin my Freshman year in High School brought an end to my 

Ham activities for the time being.

Later went through relicensing and upgrades while chaseing DX on SSB QRO with a Icom 751A and an SB220 amp into a TET 43SP at 52 ft.  252 confirmed DX,

Now enjoying CW/QRP with a wonderful Elecraft K1 into a 5 band Hex up 30 Ft.

CW is a challenge for me but it seems to be getting along and has brought back the fun to making each contact.
