I am currently a graduate student at the University of Central Florida attending for a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.  I graduated in May of 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCF and have been a part of the Amateur Radio Club at UCF for nearly 2 years.  I acquired my amateur radio license when the stars aligned not too long ago.

I hope that amateur radio will be a part of me for life; it is a tradition that is worth preserving for many years to come. Hopefully as technology improves the quality of communications in the near future, the true meaning of what it means to be a HAM will not be forgotten. It is a tradition of learning and experimentation, and we are on the verge of many major breakthroughs yet to come. I hope I can be a part of this, if not merely an observer.
