I have had a life long interest in radiocommunications but have only been licenced for just over 18th months. Currently my main areas of interest lie in CW and /P, usually adopting a covert transceiver where possible. At the moment I am using a HB-1A Triband QRP transceiver from China (HB standing for home brew), with a Miracle Whip portable antenna which one is able to use without a counterpoise.

I am a regular member of the Warwickshire Amateur Radio Society which meets bi-weekly for interesting events such as talks on technical topics, field days. Trips and days out as well master classes and operating advice. For our local weekly net I use a Icom V82.

I would be interested to hear from other Professional/Semi-Professional Musicians who would be interested in forming a weekly net whilst on the road to and from performances/gigs.

Some examples of what I do for a living:

1) This is the final movement from a suite of music for classical organ in a Parisian 20th Century style.

 

 

2) This is a medley of funk tunes played with my band at a gig for Lord Brocket on his estate in 2008. I am playing Tyros 1. The music is set to a random selection of photographs from the last few years gigs.

 

3) This is a short excerpt from a suite for piano I have been working on. With the original text by Nabokov my main compositional influences are Scriabin and Rachmaninoff for this score.2009-06-26
