Thank you for looking me up.I have been licenced since April 2011 when I paassed the Foundation Licence and obtained the callsign M6LWB.

I've always been interested in technology and gadgets, so amateur radio is the perfect hobby for me.

I am a member of Loughton and Epping Forest Amateur Radio Society (LEFARS), Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB), and RNARS London Group HMS Belfast (GB2RN).

At my home QTH I operate using a Yaesu FT-897 into a wire doublet antenna approx 88ft long and 20ft off the ground. My QTH can be a little 'noisy' but I find the antenna works quite well overall.

/Mobile

When mobile I use a Yaesu FT-857D with an Atas-120a antenna. Below is a picture of my mobile station from an old QSL card.

/Portable

I am a keen mountaineer so can also be found operating portable working on SOTA and WOTA, as well as whereever the mood takes me! Usually I operate with my Yaesu FT-857D and a selection of wire homebew antennas.
