I’m Trevor MØTPX Formerly M3TPX/2EØTPX. I'm located in North East Derbyshire, just South of the historic market town of Chesterfield, famous for its Crooked Spire and markets. My home QTH is very close to the exact centre of England. Morton, Derbyshire.
Luckily living in this area gives me access to an abundance of high hills and open locations. I seem to be operating more from other locations in the area during the warmer months than I do from the shack. At weekends I often work 80 through to 10M from Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, so far I've not seen any men in green tights. Working in such varied locations also gives me excellent opportunities to take some stunning photographs.
When I am in the shack I only work HF, sometimes I use Echolink on my android device. Currently I'm using a homebrew HF vertical for 17m which has been a fanstastic antenna, not bad for a converted 1/2 wave CB antenna. I have a second vertical for data modes, plus a homebrew Windom 80 for DX which is at present about 30' AGL. It's brilliant for trying my hand on other bands. I also like to make contacts using as little power as possible, usually calls are made using 10 Watts. While I'm no QRP'er, I do like a challenge and try to make contacts with low power.
I'm up for QSL'ing with contacts, if you're viewing my page as a result of us working each other, or in the past. Please QSL direct via my email address, or contact me if you'd like to QSL via mail. You can log our contact via QRZ.com and I will verify the contact.

All the best and I look forward to working you. If you're on Twitter, you can find me here >> https://twitter.com/M0TPX
