On April 18, 2011 weall celebrated the World Amateur Radio Day at the 86th Anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union, IARU.

For this reason Grupo DXXE activated the special callsign 4A0IARU from 18 to 24 April 2011.

The theme for this year's celebration " Amateur Radio: The first technology-based social network.”
