The United Nations Staff Recreation Council Amateur Radio Club is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the United Nations with a special call sign, 4U6ĜUN, in November - December 2005.

Amateur radio operators who contact 4U6ĜUN, or 4U1UN, plus another United Nations Amateur Radio club station (4U1ITU, 4U1VIC, 4U1WB) in the period of 24 October 2005 - 23 October 2006 are qualified to make an application for the "UN at 60" award.

Please list and send your two QSO with date, time, mode and frequency to HB9BOU. No QSL cards are needed. Help us in making a contribution to the UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund). 7 USD or 7 IRC, for postage and contribution, will be greatly appreciated.
