I live in the Beautiful tourist city of Montego Bay on the Western Side of the Island of Jamaica. The Island is located about 700 Miles South of Florida.
Jamaica is 146 miles long by 52 miles wide and is a mostly forested island with Many Rivers and Caves. The islands population is about 3 million people most of whom live in Kingston, the Capital. The Jamaican people are rich in heritage and culture and are famous for their endeavors in Reggae music and Athletics. Tourism is the largest industry in Jamaica followed by Farming and Mining.
My QTH is located Approx 1 mile from the ocean on a hill about 500 ft up with a clear view of the Ocean to the North East. The weather year round is very pleasant, with an average of 89F in the day and 82 at night and in the summer months. In winter 83F in the day and 72 at night.
QSL Cards: You can QSL me Directly in Jamaica. It is getting expensive to get cards Printed and then pay postage for cards,so please include at least 2 Greenbacks for return postage or equivelent in IRC's. I have NOT had any problems with Postage theft here in Jamaica, so everything should arrive ok. I mail outcards twice monthly.
LoTW: Yes I am a Member and I submit logs weekly.
