At the 85th Annual Lions Clubs International Convention - Special Event Amateur (Ham) Radio Station was set up by the following committee JA3OCB, JA3UB, JO3OPK, JH3XQZ, JA3VBF, JA3CF, JM3MLA, JM1DNV and 7M1HDU

Hunting Lions in the Air Contest - Annual WW HF event is conducted on the 3rd weekend of January every year to commomorate the Birth Annivesary of Melvin Jones, founder of Lions Clubs - this is to have a better understanding and co-operation amongst Lions and Amateur (Ham) Radio volunteers

We anticipate such Special Event Amateur (Ham) Radio Stations in future Lions Conventions.
