Greetings and thank you for your contact.

The 'Buddies in the Caribbean' mini-DXpedition team is on the island nation of Barbados in the West Indies from January 29, 2013 until February 06, 2013 using small portable stations. The eight man team from the United States makes a week long DXpedition to a different Caribbean island each year.

The equipment used this year will be four Elecraft KX3, two Yaesu 857-D and two Icom IC-7000 transceivers. All members are using Buddipole portable HF/VHF antennas in both horizontal and vertical configurations at 100 watts or less. Each year we enjoy large pile-up's and log thousands of contacts.

My US callsign is WZ1P. I'm a retired law enforcement officer from New Hampshire USA and Florida has been my home for the past eleven years. My hobbies include ham radio, fresh and saltwater flyfishing and dualsport / crusier motorcycles.

All wishing a QSL card will receive one including SWL listeners. US contacts please send a SASE. International requests should send your current mailing address and $1.00 US to cover international postage. (NO I.R.C. ACCEPTED)
