8S6KOS Is a special callsign dedicated for IOTA expeditions from the Koster islands (North & South Koster). The callsign holder is SM6XMY/Tomas.

Planned Activations: 29/5 - 1/6 2008 by SM6XMY, SM6MIS, SM6WET, SM6YOF, SM6UQL, SA6AOA & SM6U: Three stations with kW and descent antennas.

Historical activations:

11-13 May 2007 by SM6XMY, SM6YOF, SA6ABU, SA6AOA, SM6WET & SM6U. Four stations running, three with 1kW amps, activity on all bands 80-10m + 2m (9EL/100w portable operation).

9-11 June 2006 by SM6XMY, SM6IQD, SM6MIS, SM6YOF, SA6ABU & SM6U. Main activity on 20/40/80 SSB but some CW by -MIS & -IQD. QSL via SM6YOU (Bureau preffered). QRV all bands 80-10m depending on conditions.

20-22 May 2005 by SM6XMY, SM6IQD, SM6YOU. Main actitivies on SSB, 80/40/20/15/6m. SM6IQD will also operate some CW. We are also aiming to be QRV in the Baltic Contest (Saturday 2100 - Sunday 0200).
