This year Radio Club "Duga Resa" marks the 40th anniversary and active work on the ham bands.

 

Radio Club "Duga Resa" - 9A1CEP, founded in the 12th March 1972. , at the initiative of a few enthusiasts and lovers of radio.

The first president was elected, Mr. Dragutin Spudić, 9A2II.
Immediately after the foundation started with a gathering of members and organizing courses for radiooperatore. At that time Radio Club had 15 members and disposed of radio equipment with skilled TRIO TS-510 and FM radios CONTEST-25.
Members were active in many charitable events and actions, and in making various electronic devices and antennas, which are necessary for quality work Radio Club.

In 1977. The club has 35 members, of whom 14 passed with a radio-to operator exam, and several members had their personal call signs and radio stations.

In 40th anniversary of the Radio Club "Duga Resa" was raised and trained many generations of young people (about 150), and many of them are electrical engineering and telecommunications have become a life's calling.

The club now has 28 members, who through their radios maintain links with colleagues from around the world.
