Hi,

My name is Mel. My wife Esther (N5YOP) and I live south of New Iberia La. near where Tobassco is made. My operating rigs are: A TenTec Orion II, My backup rig is a Kenwood .TS 590. My Amp is an AL 82. I also run an old  boat anchor rig.  Antennas are a 4-element Explorer 14 - 10, 15, 17 20, & 40 mtr Beam at 48 ft. A 4 element Yagi for 6 mtrs at 35 ft. Inv "V" for 80-40 meters. For VHF/UFH I use an 11 ele 2 mtr. yagi at 55 ft.I also use an 8 element Quad at 30 ft for 2 mtr sideband and a verticle for 440 at 60 ft. I enjoy rag chew, light contesting, Light House hunting, working special event stations and evening nets(75 mtrs.) Modes include cw, ssb, fm, bpsk, and sstv. Hope to visit with you on the air.
