I was first licensed in March of 1955 as WN8VSV in Vienna WV. I have been active since except for a few years while I was in school. After moving to NC I was able to get the call AA4VV in October 1977. I enjoy working DX on CW mostly on 40 but am trying to get some good antenns up for 80 and maybe 160.

My station consist of a TenTec Orion and a Commander HF-2500 amp.  The antenna for 40 is a right angle delta loop feed in the corner and about 40 feet at the top.

 I get together with some old friends about once a year to visit and do some operating. We use the club call W8BAR.
