I'm a native of Mesa, Arizona and a Vietnam Vet. I'm married with 5 children a son & 4 daughters* I'm LDS, and a member of the Mercury Western & Northwest Nets, and I'm active in LDS ECS Nets both HF & VHF* I'm also a LDS Stake Emergency Communiction Specialist, and I serve as Net Control Station for the weekly Spokane Washington Valley Stake VHF Simplex ECS Net* I really enjoy Black & White film photography, but I find digital to be very convenient, especially for quick prints and the Internet* 75, 40, and 20 meters are my favorite bands* HF Radios include the Yaesu FT-101E, Kenwood TS-930S /AT, Yaesu FT-897D 160m-70cm 100W base, mobile, portable radio, the Yaesu FT-7800R, a Yaesu Ft-2800M.  Tuners are the MFJ-969 Deluxe Versa Tuner II and MFJ-941E Versa Tuner II * My HF antenna is currently a half wave "Folded Dipole" semi-Inverted 'V' cut for 40 meters, and a Radio Works 80 meter G5RV Plus Antenna and a half wave "Folded Dipole" with a Radio Works 4-1 Balun* A Comet GP-9 Dual Band Antenna up 52+ feet, a Discone antenna for VHF/UHF work*  I'm also experimenting with BPSK-31, using the Tigertronics SignalLink USB for use in Emergency Communications. I enjoy working DX and most of the Contests.
