NOTE THAT DURING THE SUMMER I USUALLY OPERATE FROM DM44ij, OUTSIDE PAYSON, AZ (el 5,600 ft).

I was first licensed in 1966 as G8AWJ, becoming G3ZCE on passing the code test in 1970. Ham radio went by the wayside after emigrating to the US in 1979, but QRP got me going again in 2000 when I got a US license (as AC7FL). I am a scientist, an occupation that takes nearly all my time. Visiting grandchildren is the next priority. That leaves a little bit over for building up the shack and doing electronics with oldest grandson when he comes to visit! I also enjoy playing guitar and bass (very occasionally) and, when not feeling too old and achy, caving with the Central Arizona Grotto of the National Speleological Society.
