I go by my middle name "Don" in amateur radio. First licensed in 1961 at age 15 and held K0GVA (Colorado), W6LYY (Southern California), K4KCK (Tennessee) and W7LLM (Idaho) before becoming AC7P (Idaho) in 1978. Retired and moved to Texas in 2012. I mostly operate CW, with a little SSB and PSK-31. I enjoy DXing and contesting. I use an Omni-VI 100-watt transceiver with simple wire antennas and enjoy the resulting operating challenges. The location is in the Hill Country of South Central Texas. The grid square is EL09xt and the County is Comal. I prefer QSLs via the bureau or direct (with or without SASE is OK). I also respond to eQSL requests, if that is what you prefer. I do not use LOTW. My other interests are hiking, mountain biking, fishing and golfing. 73 and see you on the bands.
