I go by my middle name "Don" in amateur radio.
First licensed in 1961 at age 15 and held K0GVA (Colorado), W6LYY (Southern California), K4KCK (Tennessee) and W7LLM (Idaho) before becoming AC7P (Idaho) in 1978. Retired and moved to Texas in 2012.
I mostly operate CW, with a little SSB and PSK-31. I enjoy DXing and contesting. I use an Omni-VI 100-watt transceiver with an inverted vee antenna and enjoy theoperating challenges.
The location is in the Hill Country of South Central Texas. The photo is from under the apex of the inverted vee, looking southeast over the Live Oak trees. The grid square is EL09xt and the County is Comal.
QSLs are OK via the bureau, eQSL, LOTW, or direct (with or without SASE is OK).
My other interests are hiking, bicycling and fishing.
73 and see you on the bands.
