I go by my middle name "Don" in amateur radio.

First licensed in 1961 at age 15 and held K0GVA (Colorado), W6LYY (Southern California), K4KCK (Tennessee) and W7LLM (Idaho) before becoming AC7P (Idaho) in 1978. Retired and moved to Texas in 2012.

I mostly operate CW, with a little SSB and PSK-31 on HF.  I enjoy DXing and contesting and chase Islands on the Air and Summits on the Air. The setup is an Omni-VI 100-watt transceiver with inverted vee antenna.  The photo is taken from just under the apex of the inverted vee.

Hope to work you on the bands.  QSL OK: direct, bureau, LoTW, or eQSL.
