First licensed in July, 1951. Was the second Novice licensed at the Atlanta, GA office, perhaps the first Novice in Tennessee. Have been licensed ever since. Life member of ARRL and QCWA. Active on HF and VHF. Enjoy nets, DX and some contests. Being retired, I enjoy "growing" towers (putting them up here at the Antenna Farm), have four up so far with two in the "growing" stage. Not a big gun, but I do enjoy working all the stations that I can. I was married to the late Charlie Ann Curle, WG4G, for over twenty years, and enjoyed sharing the enjoyment of amateur radio with her.
