Sully served his country in the US Navy-1962-65, US Air Force-1965-74, and the US Army- 1974-82, and retired from the Army in 1982 at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer-3 (Marine Deck Officer). Captain Jamestown Ferry, Jamestown, VA. (State of Virginia owned and operated) 1984-94.

Sully is now partially retired and operating his part time barber shop in Hartfield, Va. He is active with Amateur Radio, VHF, HF, Packet, Winlink 2000,and AirMail. AD4RG@winlink.org, AD4RG@n4vem.#rich.va.usa.noam. and Telpac, from his shop, home and EOC.
