Interested in Ham Radio since military radio school in 1962.

Attempted to learn code many times through the years. Decided to try one more time and obtained my Tech in April 2006 and passed general and extra tests by June 2006. After two months of daily practice , finally passed code in Sept 2006. Very enjoyable to be on HF after all those years! Previous call sign was KL1YR. Asked for new call sign when finally passed the code.

Now working on increasing my CW speed and working CW. Please be patient, on CW. I am still slow and make lots of mistakes.

I QSL 100% LOTW  I will return all QSL recieved in the manner recieved i.e direct, boro, etc. The  eQSL  is ok, and I will return one.  But until they will accept them for ARRL awards, if I send you a QSL direct and include green stamps, I need a card QSL back.   Thanks.
