This is a special event callsign and will be operation only from 1st september to 9th september 2001 for the Hamfest India - 2001 HF CW/SSB Contest being organised by HamfestIndia -2001 conetst committee.

Hamfest India -2001 will be held on 27-28th October 2001 at Nagpur, India.

National Insitute of Amateur Radio, Hyderabad will co-sponsor the event.
