I started the hobby while in high school making at that time my own transmitters (low power), only AM at that time and amateur bands not so noisy. I am an Electrical Engineer and Industrial Civil Engineer. For the time being I am using ICOMs: IC-7600, IC-718, ICOM IC-725 or ICOM IC-730, TL922, or Heathkit SB230 L.A.,a Sommer antenna (XP-40, 6 elements) for 40 to 6 meters and dipoles for 160 and 80 meters. I enjoy golf, so on weekends I am always in the course (I am presiding a club in Santiago)
