CG3B- is a Special Event callsign,for the 200th Bi-Centennial of Friendship between Canada and the United States of America

We had a great time on July 01, conditions not the best but the public was there and saw amateur radio in action, even assisted in a lost child search,who was found OK, contacted K2LED a relative of General Issac Brock, what a small world, please look for us for the rest of July, tnx and 73, Dave VE3FOI, we will be using the special issued 1812 stamps issued by Canada Post for mailing the QSL cards,

The special event has completed its time period as of July 31st. Looks like we have made over 1500 contacts, my thanks goes out to all our contacts and local operators that took time out to put CG3B on the air. General Issac Brock ventured around the world and also made contacts via the satellite.Those local amateurs of Niagara Peninsula ARC who took part

THe QSL cards are now being mailed out for ones received DIRECT, We are using a collectors Canadian Postage Stamp in Honour of General Issac Brock, and Native Chief Tecumsehon a first come first served until we run out of these special stamps, Iam waiting for your cards, 73 Dave VE3FOI

On July 01 only, W2N Special Event Station will be operating from Fort Niagara, Lewiston NY, USA. If you contact both stations (CG3B & W2N) on July 01, there is a special QSL card issued by W2N. Visit http://www.qrz.com/db/w2n.

Special QSL cards will be printed for each station.

QSL manager is VE3FOI,all contacts will receive QSL via Bureau system. If you want a direct QSL card, pse send $

2.00 USD for non-Canadian Contacts, Canadian Contacts send SASE. We are receiving QSL cards direct, and will reply once the QSL cards are printed on a Historic Press .We will be using the 1812 Bi-Centennial Stamps issued by Canada Post as long as the supply lasts, 73 Dave VE3FOI
