For all  you guys who likes antique cars,what you are about to see is unique.I am showing you this master piece we have built here,its probably the first Chevy 1950 in the entire world  that has all interior in wood,yes folks,headliner,dashboard,wheel,doors,even the stick shift is made out of wood,look this fine job we did.

I am a medical Doctor specialized in Epidemiology,also I teach medicine at the local University branch.

My radio station

  

 is an Icom IC-720 with the SM-20 base mic fed by a Radio Shack 25A switching power supply,a Daiwa CN-101 swr/wattmeter,a windom  antenna for 80 to 10M.

I am active on SSB mainly and sometimes on CW at low speed below 30 wpm.

As you can see here I live very close to the coast and that make me have excellent propagation so its easy for me dxing with my simple antenna installation.

 

Now lets talk about my small town.

Santa Cruz del Norte is a municipality in Habana province.It is located in the east of the province, between the cities of Habana and Matanzas, at the mouth of the Santa Cruz River.

 

 

 

 

The town was founded in 1800, being a fishermen community at that time, and achieved municipality status in 1931.

This is the main home of the Havana Club rum distillery; all dark varieties being produced in Santa Cruz del Norte. The distillery can be visited as part of a tour.

Other industries in the municipality include power generation as you can see at the next picture
