Hallo I am Wolf and I operate mostly from IN3 and I0. Our favorite places are south of Bolzano and Trastevere a part of the City of Roma. Normaly I lived in a very small land-village with 350 inhabitans no church, but a very good Italian restaurant.
My special interest in Ham Radio are the radio propagations in frequencies higher then 20 Mc/s, and also I am interested in Radio Astronomy in the low frequencies up to 300 Mc/s [Sun, Jupiter and so on].I use for Radio Astronomy a homemade receiving system for 20 to 80 Mc/s with 100 kc wideness, and one from  110 to 400 Mc/s (Radio Sun) with a Dicke switch. Some receivers are used for meteor scatter and meteor RADAR observations.
I am interested also in IOTA and the history of these islands.
I work with a FT 897 or an a FT 757 GX transceiver both with about 100 W. As antenna I have several long wire antennas, a small beam and several monoband antennas up to 70 cm. Since some weeks I operate on 6 meters with a 4 over 4 element antenna about 15 m high. On 50 Mc/s and 70 Mc/s are my special interest in TEP and Es propagations. For 6 meters I have 2 times stocked 5 Element and for 4 meters I have now only a transverter and a 3 element antenna.
