About QSL-Cards: Personally, I prefer the good old paper qsl card, either direct or via bureau, but I do also eqsl and LotW
The picture above shows my homebrewed fan dipole for 80m - 10m, only 5 meters above the ground between an appletree and a barns roof.
Licensed since Feb 1976 as DB6PU (VHF and above only due to limited licence class). One year later did the cw test 100% and since then my call is DF1PH.Due to my limited antennas (only fan-dipoles for 80-10) I'm mostly active in CW. Using an vy old YAESU FT-250 (same as FT-200 or Tempo One) or a vintage YAESU FT 102, which is my favorite rig. Looking for the external VFO FV-102 for the FT-102. Unfortenately the PA-Tubes in the FT-250 are burned out due to shortened grid coupling capacitor from the driver stage, so I'm looking also for spare tubes (2 x 6JS6C ) for this very nice hybrid trx.
You will meet me mostly in the CW sections.
