DF9CY Christoph

born in 1955.

Amateur Radio licensed as DB5YD (VHF license) in 1975; upgraded to DF9CY in 1979. Active in JO41dv nclose to  Gütersloh until in 1989 then moved to the Baltic Sea near Kiel (JO54al) in 1989. Mostly active on VHF/UHF. First Moonbounce contacts on 144 MHz in 1980 with single antenna. QRV on 432 MHz EME in 1982.

In 1990 I received special license for 50 MHz and became QRV with a completely homemade station.

Now (written in May 2013) I am active on 40m with a Software Defined Radio; also on 6m and 2m with a good working but still "moderate " station. Sometimes I operate from DL0SHF on EME.

For more information have a look on www.df9cy.de.

Thank you for your interest and hopefully we work one day (again) .
