Hello,
I'm licensed Ham since 2010.

- coming back to HF communications from about 20 years abstinence.

- coming from a profession of a communication technician (Deutsche Bundespost) in 1990, get there in touch with Ham DL2BWM, Wolfgang (sk) and the secrets of ham radio.
- working in a surveying office for years, also developing software apps for CAD usage

- starting my (real) Ham experiences in 2012, QRP only, prefering digital modes at HF, currently using a FT-857D with commercial radio interface.
- antenna is a DV27s for HF - Yikes! :-), and a simple wire for 2/70.
.more to come.
- also be interested in ATV, but my next ATV relay station (DB0STV) was destroyed by fire in 2011, damn.! :-(

I prefer the digital way, that's why I use e-QSl.cc for QSL cards (sry, ATM neither bureau nor paper, this may change in future)

- previously (2000) started development of Project-X, a DVB (digital transport stream data) demultiplex software (can be found as OSS at project-x.sourceforge.net , somebody will know it ),
and other satellite receiver related software (like channel list editors), prefering JAVA platform to get most flexiblity and usability.

73 ! de Matt :-)
