Greetings there!

My name is Duško, on the air I normally use my nickname Dule. Born on the 24th of November 1995. in Pljevlja, a town then in SRJ (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). modern day Montenegro. Living in Čajniče, located in JN93MN, but because of my studies, I spend more time in Banjaluka, JN84OS. Not too much time for DX-ing right now, but still manage to make some noise on the bands from time to time.

Favourite mode of operating is CW of course, but I can't say NO to a good SSB pile-up as well. Did some work on digimodes, RTTY. Other digi stuff is waiting for it's turn.
My fields of interest are HF DX-ing, with 40M as my favourite band, and contesting - CW, SSB, and MIXED. Tasted some of WFF program, and have to say it's fun. Have serious plans with it in the future.

How I became a ham?

I entered the miraculous world of amateur radio in 2011, being 15 and a half years old. Was fascinated with Morse Code some time before that. After almost 4 months of training at local radio club E73ECJ, I got my license on the 28th of June. Tnx to E73X, E73PY, E75MJ and E73ZR, my elmers.

Made my first CW QSO on the 23rd of June with IK6IHN, 40m CW, using club call. My first QSO using my personall call was HA5AEK, on 80m CW. It is needless to say that after this I got hooked, I spent 90% of my free time at the club, chasing DX, and doing some contests. At that time, my club had barefoot TS430S at it's disposal, and few dipoles hanging from an old 19th century building we were settled in. Most of the activity was on 40m - low hanging dipole, some 5m above the ground, but still I was able to put my weak signal all over the globe without major problems. Exception was Southern direction, I had 1300m mountain under my very window, blocking the path to Africa.

First contest I took part in was URDX in November 2011, CW LP on 40m, using E73ECJ callsign. After that many contests followed, I used E73ECJ, from the end of 2012 E7RS (contest call). First contest I entered as E77CW was a local type, 80m. Cup of Republika Srpska 2012. Until the 2014, I worked contests mainly on 40m, LP, with trusted old TS430 in most cases (I am in love with that rig).
Did few contests using my personal callsign E77CW from the shack of my friend E74TV. Kenwood again, but this time a bit more old: TS530 and TS520.
After meeting the guys from E74EBL, a door to the world of serious contesting opened to me. First HP contest entry was 40m in CQWW SSB 2014, under the flag of E74EBL. It resulted with 7th place EU, 10th world. After that, as E74EBL worked 9A CW SO 20m HP, ARRL DX CW SO 40m HP, and my favourite contest, RDX, again 40m MIXED HP. After the UBN, I emerged as a winner, beating S59A. I also joined E7DX crew, for CQWW 160m, CW edition of 2015, and CQ WPX SSB 2015 as well. A wonderful experience!

Had the honour to take part in YOTA summer event 2015, which was held in Italy, in Marina di Massa. Meeting all those wonderful people, all those amateur-radio-brothers-in-arms, it was a priceless experience. The best week of my life, week that resulted with many new friends, and US General class license. After more that 80 days of waiting, I was issued with KD2JOF, but plan to replace it with a vanity call.

Setting up ow station is not an easy task for me, as it requires a lot of funds. My home station at this very moment consists of TS515, kindly donated by E74RG. Few wires are waiting to be put up.

73/88/44 de E77CW Duško!

24th morning of November 2015, brought me a b-day present by FCC - a new callsign: K2ECJ!!!
