Members of the Canary Islands DX Ham Society were working from Burrero Rock as EF8BDX, February 12th, 2005 ( 2nd time on the air only)

Burrero Rock is valid for the Spanish Islands Award (D.I.E) S-349, the D.M.E. is 35.011 and the Grid Locator is IL27HV.

This Rock is located in Carrizal village, in the South East of Gran Canaria Island.

This activity was on 15 meters SSB only. The team that was activating AF-004 are licensed EC8 operators and they are restricted to only operate below 21200 kHz.

All QSLs will be sent through the URE BUREAU after our operation.

Miembros del Canary Islands DX Ham society volvieron a estar activos el día 12 de Febrero de 2005 activando el Roque del Burrero EF8BDX desde El Carrizal, en la costa sur este de Gran Canaria. Era la 2ª vez que este roque estaba en el aire.

La actividad se realizó sólo en la banda de 15 metros y por debajo de 21200.0 ya que el Team estuvo compuesto por operadores EC8.
