I've been a ham since 1982. I got my licence when I was 21 and single and had loads of time to spare. I was very active for about 4 years. Since then I have been pre-occupied with getting married and rearing kids.

Things are beginning to settle down and I am starting to crank up my interest in the old hobby. I got my old gear down from the attic (a FT101ZD, FL2100B) and am in the process of powering them up. First I need to build myself a new dummy load and ATU and put up something resembling an antenna.

Hopefully I will be active again sometime soon and maybe making contact with some of the people I spoke to all those year ago.
