What's this?...
My name is Mark Wall, call sign EI7IS. I am located in
Waterford in the South-East of Ireland (IO62lf).
Web site: http://ei7is.searg.com
The station consists of a Yaesu FT-897D (and an FT-101ZD Mk. III with FTV-901R transverter with 2 & 6 metre band
modules). Also an FC-902 ATU. Antennas are a doublet in a sloping 'V' configuration (for 3.5 to 29 MHz) and a resonant
dipole for 20 metres. For 6 metres, 2 metres and 70 cm I use a W-2000
tri-band vertical. I've recently set up a Motorola MC Micro with a dipole antenna for 4m FM.
I'm mainly active on HF (80 to 10 metres) using SSB, CW, PSK, RTTY, SSTV, OLIVIA, FDMDV and FELD-HELL modes (more recently WSPR (MEPS_JT mode) and JT65.
I'm also on 6m, 4m 2m and 70cm. To arrange skeds, please feel free to e-mail me (address listed on QRZ.com) or contact me via eQSL.cc.
I am a member of the following organisations;
- SEARG (South Eastern Amateur Radio Group)
- IRTS (Irish Radio Transmitters Society)
- EPC (European PSK Club) - EPC # 5670.
QSL is okay via the Bureau, Direct and eQSL.cc
