first licenced in1986 with the c/s g1umg,i moved on to the class A licence the the following year..i am still active on the key mostly on 17mt for daytime activity,also on topband in the evenings when conditions allow.I joined FISTS in1994,which if you are unaware is the international morse preservation society,a very worthwhile organisation if you are interested in c.w.# 01601.

The radio is an old kenwood ts850s at, the antenna is an inverted L tuned with the mfj 969,the keys are both by Kent the straight and paddle, its been many a year since the straight key was dusted off lol.

I do work vhf/uhf however it can be very hard to raise any interest,still willing....
