G0RUZ 2013

I was licensed in 1985 as G6ZTU and I have always been interested in VHF/UHF/SHF DX

I was very active on 50Mhz from 1998 to 2001 and at that time as able to spend a lot of time in the shack. On 6m from the current shack at North Wakefield radio club, locator square IO93FR.

I have 179 DXCC and 33 WAZ zones in close to 1000 grids although on 6m I have never really chased squares. I have recently become active again, although I doubt very much that I will have the time to dedicate to the band that I did in the last cycle!

I was also active on 2m and 70 cm eme and have WAC on both those bands, pre WSJT!

I have been inactive on EME since Early 2002 as I attended The University of Bradford where I obtained a 1st Class BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunications. I am now working as an RF Engineer for a fabless silicon manufacturer in Sheffield, UK.

My out of date and soon to be modified web pages are available here .

Far more interesting is the North Wakefield Radio Club website which is where I do all of my operating. This active club is on the up!

The website can be seen at http://www.g4nok.org and there is also a new forum at http://www.g4nok.org/forum - please pop in and say hello.
