I was born in Denton, Manchester in 1960. Licenced in August 1987, going qrt in October 2002. Interest renewed by an old friend from way back M0CSN John. Married Linda in 1983. We have 3 daughters, Louise, Kelly & Kaitlin, & at last count 3 grandsons, Lewis, Kai & Oliver. My daughters unfortunately have no interest at all in amateur radio, they much prefer those modern day smart phones, maybe I will be able to get the grandsons to see sense.

My working life started as mechanical engineer in my teens to early twenties, changing directions to electrical engineer into my mid thirties, now working for the largest security company in Europe, monitoring fire & security systems throughout the U.K, Eire & the channel islands.
