Discovered radio when I was 14 years old through the School Radio Club in Sidcup, Kent. Applied for my G3UJE licence in July 1965 and then spent the next 3 years on 160 metres CW with a bit of am and finally SSB. Spent 3 months in Guernsey in 1969 as GC3UJE and had a lot of fun with a much sought after call!  Managed a 'first' on 160 metres from there with a CW contact with Herb, KV4FZ.

A few more moves and a lot of years later I found a good QTH in Cheshire with some room to play with aerials.

I've a keen interest in chasing DX (mainly CW), 160 metres and HF contesting and I am a member of the 'Tall Trees Contest Group' which is based in East Cheshire (M0TTG/G5D).

73's,

Brian
