Hello. Thanks for reviewing my QRZ dot COM details.

I have been interested in Amateur Radio since school days and work most bands 40 through 6 metres, with just a modest set up. I am a DX and IOTA enthousiast and also particularly like 6 metres where everyone seems most equal - the way amateur radio used to be!

I am a member of CDXC (the UK DX Foundation) and am  involved with the Club committee. Interested in DX and not yet a CDXC member? Google 'CDXC website' and take a look at what CDXC is about.

I hold a number of foreign calls including GM3USR/P (!) as I come from Glasgow and like to return to Scotland to visit family and friends. Please see the entries for GM3USR, VP2MSR (Montserrat) and ZD8GR (Ascension) for full details.

I was an operator on the 3B7C (St Brandon) DXpedition 09/07 and ZD8UW (Ascension) in 01/09. In October 2009 I plan to be in P29 (Papua New Guinea) with P29NI, P29VCX and P29VLR.

QSL Policy for all my calls is -

If we have had a contact and you would like a DIRECT card

For UK stations ... send your QSL with a stamped addressed return envelope.

For outside UK stations ... send your QSL with an addressed envelope with one 'most recent' (2013) IRC or with two 2 USD.

Bureau QSLs and any without the above will receive a reply via the Bureau. Please do not send old or 2009 IRC'S.

Many thanks.

Hope to talk to you (again) soon. 73 and great DX! Gordon.
