Hi! My name's Gary ... and I'm a radio amateur.

I use CW, often QRP. I build radios and antennas. I enjoy contests.

I used to live near London until I emigrated to New Zealand in 2005.

I was with the Voodudes team at XT2DX for CQ WW CW in 2001 - what a blast! - and with K2WR, G4BUO and G3SQX at GJ2A for CQ WW CW in 2004. I've also been a member of the Sutton and Cheam Radio Society, the Leicester Radio SOciety, the Gravesend Radio Club G3GRS/Windmill Contest Group G0FBB and the Martlesham Contest Group M6T. Before it folded, I was in the Red Dragons Contest Group GW8GT. I still fondly remember the monster 40m 2ele quad and Ross's beautifully engineered amplifiers.
