I live in Morecambe and we have a lighthouse or two! in the area and I hope to active from these so listen out for my Ft817 signal as G4LDS/p. We are also surronded by beautiful countryside, mountains and hills and due to local high noise at the home location.
I may be out and about amongst these again as G4LDS/p, using my FT817 + 6 metre vertical (approx 16.5' aerial) with a switchable homemade 1:1/4:1 balun and a SLA battery for longer operating tomes If your into WFF or Lighthouses, I will be at GFF 144 (Morecambe Bay) and maybe LH Eng-190 - Morecambe stone jetty
