Usually called BERNIE. I live about 15 km from Manchester and abt 17km from Liverpool. I'm a retired BBC outside broadcast television cameraman. I am operational on amateur bands up to and including 432 mHz. Other pastime is fly fishing. Came to amateur radio whilst living in Scotland and had the class "B" callsign GM8NXW. Moved to present address in 1980 and got class "A" ticket the same year

I'm not a dx chaser but enjoy it if one comes along.Recently using psk31.
