My station is 100% CW on HF. I have a collection of keys. My Main rig is an old Yaesu

FT1000D, normally running 70 watts via a G2DYM half size trapped dipole as an

inverted V for 10-40m. For a standby rig I am using a Yaesu FT920. Both are great Rigs.

My favourite keys are my Vibroplex original bug and my Bencher paddles. I retired from work in 2003.

I gained my Amateur Radio Licence in 1982. My father got me interested in Amateur Radio back in the

1950's. His callsign was G3PPK now SK in 1992. I enjoy all Qso's on CW, but do not like to take

part in contests. I like to rag chew mainly, some times accused of waffling.

During my time as a Radio Amateur, I have had the great pleasure of staying with and meeting

other Amateurs such as Bill K9ZG and Karen WA9AEA. and also had the pleasure of meeting

Teru JA3QUU and his son on their recent visit to the UK when he stayed with our family.

Out side of Radio I enjoy watching motor racing and using my computers. Many years ago I enjoyed

flying around the world whilst in aviation.'.

My XYL is Marian G6GUD. I also have 2 wonderful grandchildren who are also begining to enjoy

amateur radio. They seem to take over our pockets and lives. I do hope we have a qso in the future.

LONG LIVE CW CW is a way of Life.
