The Duxford Radio Society (DRS) is the radio section of the Duxford Aviation Society, and consists of a dedicated group of volunteers who research, conserve, restore, display and operate historic military radio equipment at the Imperial War Museum (IWM), Duxford Airfield, Cambridge, England. DRS operates GB2IWM on a regular basis in order to promote the activities of the IWM nationally and internationally, and to maintain contact with ex-Armed Services radio societies and other nets. DRS is based in Duxford Buildings 177 and 178, adjacent to the American Air Museum. These buildings are open every Saturday and Sunday and also on other days of the week when the Volunteers are available. The buildings can also be opened by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
