Special Event Station celebrating the first radio communication contact between the UK and New Zealand which took place On 18th October 1924.

The contact was between Cecil Goyder G2SZ at Mill Hill School, England and the station operated by Frank Bell Z4AA in Shag Valley, South Island, New Zealand.

Operators of GB2NZ (2013) are;

5th October to 6th October G3UML SSB
7th October to 11th October G3XRJ SSB and CW
12th October to 18th October G3BJ SSB and CW
19th October to 25th October G3SJJ CW (Team Leader & Webmaster)
