THE BEGINNING, A SWL !

I was first licenced in April 1977 after many years as a SWL. Around that time, I was encouraged by two fellow Hams (David Gi3KVD and Domenic Gi4DQO now sadly a SK) to practice, and practice and pass the Morse code test. Not being satisfied with that mile stone they insisted that I keep operating in Morse, a practice I have continued to date. I am a member of the RSGB and the ARRL I also enjoy QRP operations and became a member of GQRP, FISTS the Morse code preservation society and NAQCC who have accepted me as a Life member.
