Thank you for looking up my Page. My main operating mode is CW, but I am also interested in DStar and manage a simplex hotspot MB6LY that will allow other DStar operators to link into the Internet. I enjoy SSB, FM, and RTTY, but my most often used mode is CW (QRP and QRO).

THE BEGINNING, A SWL !

I was first licensed in April 1977 after many years as a SWL. Around that time, I was encouraged by two fellow Hams (David Gi3KVD and Dominic Gi4DQO now sadly a SK) to practice, and practice and pass the Morse code test. Not being satisfied with that mile stone they insisted that I keep operating in Morse, a practice I have continued to date. I am a member of the RSGB and the ARRL I also enjoy QRP operations and became a member of GQRP, FISTS the Morse code preservation society and NAQCC who have accepted me as a Life member.

QSL card are via Direct, eQSL (AG), LOTW, and the RSGB BUREAU: IOTA - EU-115 --- WAB C62--- IO65MA IOTA EU-115, ITU Zone 27 and CQ Zone 14.
