Thank's for looking me up here on QRZ
Im 69yrs old, first licenced in 1985 and still enjoying the hobby.
The Monument in my picture is of the Wallace Monument, built in the 1860's
to the memory of William Wallace a famous Scottish freedom fighter.
My house/shack is located directly below and I have a nice view from the shack window.
also to the south of my shack a grand view of Stirling Castle, another historic building.
The monument sit's on top of Abbey Craig and is 111m( 364ft) above sea level.
The monument itself is 67m(220ft) and has a spiral staircase with 246 steps
not a climb for the fainthearted but worth the climb for the panoramic view from the top.
In June of this year will be the 700th anniversay of the Battle of Bannockburn
