Self Employed with my taxi business again & making good progress. Enjoy working radio from the car with my FT 857 Active on 2 mt's,

4 Meter's and 17 mt's regular while in the car !

 

I'm now very happy to be HOME in Scotland and SINGLE againsmiley enjoying a quiet life once more   hi hi !!

 

Currently work from home QTH with an Icom 706Mk II ( 100Wts ). Hombrew Antenna's > Inverted L ( all band's )

1/4 wave Vertical's for 17 Meters & 20 Meters .

 

Now also homebrew J-poles for 4, 6, and 10 meters And Hentenna's for 4 and 6 meters giving fantastic results

FURTHER UPDATE ! Currently very active on 10 Meter's AM ( 29.000 Mhz ) and also 10 Meter's FM when band permits !!!

More !!!   QRV regular on 70.260 FM, from home QTH & recently ( July 2012 ) worked crossband 6 & 4meters to France

using 70.260 FM 25watts as my TX

 

Have Regular Sched's on 4 mt's 70.450 (fm) from a hilltop site just north of Dundee on Tuesday Evening's ( June > October ) 19.00 > 23.00 Bst

Weather Permiting Using a Homebrew 4 meter "J" Plole.

Also Active on 2mt's, 6 mt's & 70 Cm's and sometime's 23 Cm's from same hilltop site

Hope to hear you during lift condition's.
